we gussied up the tree earlier tonight, put on lights and ornaments and stuff
many of the ornaments are really old, almost all have some sort of memory attached to them, which i think is the way it shoudl be
dressing the tree is kind of a cathartic remiscent activity, and it doesn't look half bad either
also checked out richmond, vcu, and the apartment they have me put at earlier today
unfortunately its like in some random apt. community about 7 miles from vcu with 86% non student working folk
as such i'm looking at rooms for rent in downtown richmond near vcu, which looks like it could be really cool and work out quite well
my impression of richmond = thumbs up, very interesting old/urban environment + archecture mixture that I really dig

no word back form my prof as to whether i will pass or what
so bleh
in other news it looks like the umbc ppl ski trip is on
which shall be definitely be a lot of fun
never gone skiing before either, hopefully i won't suck and die from something dumb
my innate tony hawk abilities may give me an edge over the average noob but we shall see
